The folded cardboard box and cardboard slipcase are a necessity due to the individual pieces that make our Schogetten ‘blocks’ unique. As such, they cannot be replaced by the plastic flow packs commonly used by other chocolate-block manufacturers. The aluminium foil in turn seals our Schogetten, and plays an essential role in keeping them fresh. We’re constantly working to improve our products and to use the most sustainable packaging materials possible. Our aluminium foil, for example, is already 100% recyclable, and its efficient re-usability makes it a low-emission raw material.

We’re constantly working to improve our products and adapt them to consumer preferences. For recipe-related reasons, it is unfortunately currently not possible to guarantee palm-oil-free manufacturing of all our products. We do, however, only use sustainably grown, RSPO-certified palm oil. And we’re already able to make our flavours Praliné Noisettes, Trilogia Strawberry, Stracciatella, White Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Alpine Milk Chocolate, and Alpine Milk Chocolate with Hazelnuts without palm oil. You might even have tried one of these already?

The back of our packaging contains a list of ingredients. But if you want to play it even safer, you are also welcome to ask us, and we’ll look into it if you have a specific intolerance. We hope you’ll still find something suitable in our wide range of Schogetten chocolates, and that you’ll love the taste of them.
